Initial controversy over its acceptability rose to the point where the Dean of the Law School William Flanagan and Principal of Queen’s Daniel Woolf wrote missives in defence of free speech. The Queen's University "Human Rights Office" posted a link to the Levana Gender Advocacy Centre and Education on Queer Issues Project "active support" efforts during this event at their “Trans-Positive and People of Colour Positive Chill-In” in Dunning Hall, room 11, where there was coloring pages, music, food, and discussion.

Looking for the delicious tip of the tongue on the Shangri-La Plateau in Yunnan-Tibetan food

Speaking of Tibetan food, how can you miss yak meat, butter tea and tsampa? After bidding farewell to Lurong, we went to the ranch in Shangri-La Jidi Village. In addition to the meadow cattle and sheep, there were also fragrant tsampa and sweet butter tea. The old people in the village graze on the pastures from March to September. They milk the cows to make ghee every day. For the first time, they saw the process of making ghee and tasted the freshest ghee tea. Before leaving, they bought a cake of ghee and Grandpa also gave me highland barley noodles for some yak meat. After I got home, I would cook an authentic Tibetan meal. In addition to butter tea and tsampa, I also cooked Tibetan hot pot and beef jerky, which are also very flavorful! Hello everyone! I am a little brother from West Yunnan, an authentic Yunnan girl.
