After falling in love with the flavor of yuzu, Vivek and Seema decided to grow their own in New Jersey. Now, with help from their daughter Simran, the family has a full-on yuzu and citrus farm. While many of their rare fruits are available year-round, yuzu is only available August through November. Today, their business, Bhumi Growers, is one of the preferred yuzu and rare citrus vendors for top NYC restaurants like Masa and Gabriel Kreuther, and Elements in New Jersey.
This is the breakfast you want! (with crushed avocado). How to make amazing avocado toast with eggs. This is the breakfast you want! What I love about this breakfast is that it’s not only healthy and hearty, it’s delicious and quick to make (if you’re organised). The eggs are fried but kind of poached and steamed at the same time. So they remain soft and delicate like poached eggs with the flavour of fried eggs. Adding the chopped chives to the raw whites gives the eggs a great flavour and an interesting look as the chives set in the cooked whites.
At Khói Barbecue, brothers Don and Theo Nguyen use the Vietnamese ingredients and cooking methods from their childhood to influence their Texas Barbecue pop-ups, creating dishes like brisket pho and smoked chicken rice & yuzukoshō.
I just tried it and woww my chicken has never been this crispy. I also marinated the chicken with some fresh milk because I remembered from maangchi's dakbokkeumtang recipe, she said that milk will make the chicken more tender. We don't have a microwave so we waited for god knows how long lmao. I made my own frying powder with wheat flour and rice flour in the ratio of 1:1 with some seasoning. The sauce recipe is also so simple and tasty though it's not very spicy according to my taste. But my roommate who doesn't like spicy foods loves it though. Thank you for the lovely recipe and a very thorough step by step tutorial. My tummy is very happy right now.
